Mr. Animals
Ian G.

One day Mr. Animals was going to the zoo with his family. He had a sister, Little Miss Princess (in a good way), a brother Mr. Soccer, and his parents Mr. Guitar and little Miss Mom. Anyways, the zoo was just outside Mr. Animals hometown of Wild Ville. Wild Ville had all the animals you could think of and more.
“I’ve got an idea,” said Mr. Animals, “We can see the animals alphabetically.”
“Great idea.” exclaimed Mr. Guitar.
“Wait a minute, I don’t know the alphabet.” said Mr. Animals sadly.
“It’s okay,” comforted Mr. Soccer, “I know a song to teach you.”
“I want to learn too.” whined Little Miss Princess.
“Here goes.” Mr. Soccer sang.

A is for alligator, B is for bear, C is for cougar, and D is for deer. This is the alphabet song. E is for elephant, F is for flamingo, and G is for gorilla. This is the alphabet song. H is for hypo, I is for iguana, and j is for jaguar. This is the alphabet song. K is for kangaroo, L is for lion, and M is for monkey. This is the alphabet song. N is for newt, O is for octopus, and P is for platypus. This is the alphabet song. Q is for Quail, R is for rhino, and S is for snakes. This is the alphabet song. T is for tiger, U is for unicorn, and V is for vampire bat. This is the alphabet song. W is for whale, X is for x-ray fish, Y is for yak, and z is for zebra. That is the alphabet song.

When the family got out of the car at the zoo they were all jittery with excitement.
“I can’t wait to see the unicorns.” exclaimed Little Miss Princess.
“I want to see the elephant.” explained Mr. Animals.
“I want to see the snakes.” said Mr. Soccer. So the family got their tickets and began the song again as they passed each animal. A is for alligator, B is for bear, C is for cougar, and D is for deer. This is the alphabet song. E is for eleph…ph…ph…
“Where is the elephant?” Mr. Animals cried.

“It’s okay.” said Little Miss Princess trying to comfort her bawling brother.
“I know what to do,” Mr. Guitar said half heartedly, “We’ll check in the pachyderm building.” So the family rushed into the stinky building, noses plugged.
“Let’s see, giraffes, hypos, but no elephant.” said Little Miss Mom sadly. Mr. Animals started to cry again, but harder this time.

“Wait a minute,” exclaimed Mr. Guitar, “There are elephant tracks heading toward the old abandoned monkey habitat.”
“C’mon, let’s go.” shouted Mr. Soccer. So the family followed the tracks to the back of the zoo. It was really creepy for Mr. Animals and Little Miss Princess. So they huddled behind Little Miss Mom and Mr. Guitar. When they got to the habitat they spread out to find the elephant.
“I found him.” yelled Mr. Guitar suddenly. The elephant was standing at the very back of the habitat. So Mr. Guitar ran back and got Mr. Zoologist. When Mr. Guitar got back, he had peanuts and the family lured the elephant back to its habitat.

“Well, I think we had quit the adventure today.” said Little Miss Mom excitedly.
“It was awesome!” the kids chimed.
“I hope it never happens again,” groaned Mr. Guitar, “let’s go home. So the family of five went back to their house in central Wild Ville. The whole way home they sang the alphabet song like angels.
